Minilit was implemented in 2015 at Yokine Primary. It was in support of a number of our students who struggle with their reading, especially students who come from a background with English as a second language.  It has been hugely successful in supporting a number of our students in gaining those critical indepth literacy skills helping them to grow and develop in all areas of their learning. 

MiniLit is an evidence-based, effective early literacy program. It is a practical, systematic, explicit and effective model for teaching reading skills to students in the lower years.
