COLOUR RUN - Colour Run Sponsorship Form
Friday 24th November
Our final fundraising event for 2017 is the very popular Colour Run. Students will run, skip or jump their way around the oval, through clouds of vibrate coloured powder.
Ask family and friends to sponsor you by either a donation or per lap. After the event, collect all your donations and bring those hard-earned dollars, sealed in an envelope, with students name clearly written and how much money is inside to the front office and place in the locked box provided, on or before FRIDAY 1ST DECEMBER. Students who return forms/money by the due date will be eligible to win prizes.
We would like to invite all kindy students to also participate. If you don’t attend kindy on a Fridays, we would love to see your smiling faces enjoy the day too. Come down to the oval at 2.20pm.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
POWDER: Colour Powder used is non-toxic and is designed to be thrown directly onto students in bulk quantities. Powder is made from natural ingredients of 99.3% corn starch powder, 0.5% natural dyes and 0.2% perfume.
ALLERGIES: Any students with allergies will be catered for on the day. If your child has any allergies or is asthmatic or if you have a general enquiry, please contact us on the following email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with further details on alternative ways your child will be able to participate and still get coloured.
POWER CONTROL: You will see smiling faces around the oval with their main goal being to douse students in colourful powder. All colour powder technicians are trained to throw colour below shoulder height.
CLOTHING: the powder will come out of clothing simply by washing in cold water. Children are allowed to change their clothes at lunchtime if you do not wish them to wear their uniform. We recommend white or light t/shirts. Students will be coming home with powder on them, so we suggestion a towel for them to sit on in the car.
DOES THE COLOUR AFFECT STUDENTS VISION OR BREATHING?
The colour powder used at The Colour Run event is certified non-toxic and free of any heavy material. As with any substance, you want to keep it out of your eyes and our colour throwers make sure to aim low as you pass by. Some Colour Runners opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths.
